FreeHush covers noise-cancellation tools you can use without paying — and treats the free tier as the product, not the bait. The site exists because "free noise cancellation" searches return a wall of trials, credit ambushes and watermark surprises, and somebody should keep score honestly.
The listing rule
A tool appears in our "free" lists only if its free tier is perpetual and genuinely usable. Trials — however generous — are labelled as trials, always. A tool that hides its limit until after you've processed a file doesn't get listed at all. That rule is the site.
How we verify (our methodology)
Every stated limit — minutes per day, hours per month, file caps, watermarks — is checked against the vendor's own pricing or help pages before publishing, and each page shows the date of its last check. Freemium terms change quietly and often; when a reader or a re-check catches a change, we update the page and the date. Where we haven't run a tool hands-on, we say so and tell you exactly what to verify in your own first session instead of inventing test results.
How the site makes money
Some pages carry affiliate links (currently for Krisp, via the Impact network) — disclosed on every page that contains one and detailed in our combined terms & disclosure. The editorial rule that keeps it honest: our most common advice is to pay nobody, and the free-first structure of every page reflects it.
